Yagnopavit Sanskar

Mass Marriage and Yagnopavit Ceremony

With the aim of financially assisting the needy people in society, the Bhudev Seva Samiti organizes Mass Marriages and the Sacred Thread Ceremony (Yagnopavit) for young boys (Batuks). This program specifically focuses on young men and women who face difficulties in fulfilling the initial requirements of starting a new life. During the event, necessary household items (Kariyavar) are given as gifts to the brides.

Only a nominal fee is charged for these mass marriages, which reduces the financial burden and provides ease for the people in the community. The mass marriage scheme not only resolves financial issues but also spreads awareness in society against showing off, peer pressure, and extravagant spending.

Furthermore, such programs awaken familial and cultural values in society, spreading a strong message that marriages can be conducted without massive expenses. In the future as well, such mass marriages will continue to serve as an inspiration for social cooperation and equality in the community.

Through this initiative, the Bhudev Seva Samiti has made a beautiful effort to promote the cooperative and fair traditions of our society, which is especially needed in today's era.
